What we collect from homeowners
A quote request includes your name, email, phone, zip, and what you told us about your roof. It is shared only with the verified certified members covering your zip, named in your confirmation. We never sell it, and we never share it with anyone else.
What we collect from contractors
Business contact details, license information, insurance certificates, and billing status. License numbers, states, and verification dates are published on your profile because public verifiability is the product. Documents themselves are stored privately.
Analytics and communications
We use basic analytics to understand site usage. Transactional email and SMS related to quote requests and membership run through our communications provider. Payments are processed by Stripe; card details never touch our servers.
Your choices
Email hello@localcertifiedroofers.com to access or delete your data. Deleting a contractor account removes the profile; the anonymized routing log is retained for fairness audits.
